The burn that runs from Harrier to Ham. This stretch of burn and its accompanying peat banks acts as a corridor for migrant birds moving from one end of the island to the other. It also offers much needed shelter and food opportunities.

The iris beds along its length are favoured by acrosephalus and locustella warblers.
