The Brae is located at above the south eastern edge of Ham valley and is the starting point for the walk along the eastern cliffs south of Ham.

There is a small outbuilding for chickens and horses which has held rarities and rare birds in the past. The surrounding fields can also be excellent for thrushes and plovers at the right time of year.

Please treat the area sensitively as livestock are always present, and during the harvest season hay may be scattered to dry.
