White-fronted Goose Anser albifrons

Scarce passage migrant

· 1997 21, from the 17^th to 18^th April, 13 remaining until the 22^nd, on which date 8 of these birds were seen on Fair Isle.

· 2001 10, from the 30^th October to 23^rd December.

· 2002 8, from the 9^th October to 30^th November, with a ninth bird joining them on 5^th – 10^th November.

· 2004 A single from the 10^th March – 9^th April.

· 2006 A single Greenland White-fronted Geese A.a.flavirostris was present on 13^th – 18^th April. Two adults were also present 27^th September – 1^st October.
