Two-barred Crossbill Loxia leucoptera

Rare vagrant from north-east Europe or Siberia

· 1959 One female, 21^st August (Boys, cited in Pennington et al. 2004).

· 1987 3, on the 11^th August, flocks of 6 and 4 on the 15^th, Two on the 16^th and One on the 18^th (RWGC). Believed to involve at least 12 birds, although the BBRC only accepted 6 individuals.

· 2002 One female, 17^th August (ARM et al.).
