Rare passage migrant

· 1961 One on 4^th September.

· 1966 One, calling male, on 23^rd June – 7^th July (Furness, 1983).

· 1995 Brief views of a crake seen by TPD and DJR, on the 16^th September, was almost certainly this species.

· 2011 One, Hametoun Burn, on the 23^rd and 24^th September (PRF, KDS, KBS, PW, NW).
