1900 One, found in a crofter’s barn, in late April, was
‘captured and kept in confinement, but soon died’. A leg and wing were sent to
the NMS by Frank Traill (Clarke, cited in Pennington et al., 2004).

1926 A female, on or before the 10th May,
was found dead and sent to the NMS (Greenaway, cited in Pennington et al.,
2004).
