Rough-legged Buzzard Buteo lagopus

Vagrant with at least 40 records

· 1992 One on 4^th March – 18^th April (SG et al.).

· 1997 One on 16^th October (ARM).

· 2007 One on 16^th October – at least 23^rd October (MG et al.). The bird was first observed at Hametoun, but the bird ranged across the island, as it was later observed by one of the island’s residents circling above her house at the North End.
