Fairly common breeding resident

Little data is available for the island. The species is usually logged as present unless a larger count is made. The following records are taken from such logs:

· 2000 12 observed on the 29^th September near Harrier, otherwise present.

· 2003 Recorded as present throughout the year. The largest count was 30+ made on the 12^th August. Counts in March, April and May never exceeded 20, and rarely 10. No breeding data is available.

· 2004 Peak count of 40 on the 27^th September.
