River Warbler Locustella fluviatilis

Rare vagrant from eastern Europe

· 1995 A single observer, Dominic Rigby, found one in Ham Yard, Ham, on the 14^th September (DJR) (BB 90: 499). A total of four birds were seen on the islands in this year.

· 2006 One, in the Iris just South of Burns, 3^rd – 4^th October (JMD, TPD, KDS, MAW)
