Uncommon passage migrant with a small breeding population

· 1898 The wing and leg of a specimen were found on the 28^th of August (Jackson, 1966).

· 1930s A single bird was seen sometime during the autumn of this decade (Jackson, 1966).

· 1961 One, on the 25^th June.

· 1973 One, on the 28^th July.

· 1975 Two, on the 23^rd of May.

· 2004 One, flying around in mist on the 9^th June.
