Paddyfield Warbler Acrocephalus agricola

Rare vagrant from eastern Europe or Asia

· 2003 One, trapped and ringed in the Ham burn on the 29^th of September, remained until the 6^th of October. One, possibly the same individual, was also seen on the 8^th of October in the phalaris on the southern side of the Hametoun valley (ARM et al.). Amazingly, the same ringed bird was relocated in the line of trees beside the farm at Kergord on Mainland Shetland, on the 11^th October, where it remained until the 12^th on which date it was trapped.

· 2004 One was in Hametoun Burn on the 13^th June (GA, SB, CMcI, JR, SCV).

· 2010 One, on the 30^th September.
