1924 A single bird on the 5th and 6th
of July was heard churring. The song had been heard during the previous two
summers, suggesting a possible breeding attempt (Bishop, cited in Pennington et
al., 2004) although there may have been confusion with the calls of Petrels
(Pennington et al., 2004).
