Little Stint Calidris minuta

Uncommon passage migrant. Recorded mainly August to October

· 1963 3, on the 14^th of August.

· 1964 – 1967 Recorded almost annually.

· 1968 3, on the 12^th August.

· 1995 Two, near Rossie's Loch on the 10th September

· 1996 Two on the 19^th September; One remaining to the 30^th. Another single bird from 17^th – 22^nd October.

· 1998 Two, South Ness, 19^th & 20^th September. Single bird on 23^rd and 24^th

· 2006 3, on the 21^st – 22^nd September, with one on the 23^rd and another on 27^th – 29^th.

An incredible 55 birds have been recorded on the island on one date in the past (ARM per sae.) although the above numbers are the norm.
