Little Crake Porzana parva

Very rare vagrant from Europe

2000 A small crake, was seen very briefly from above by TPD and JMD in the burn by the old mill, Mill Loch on the 27^th September. Owing to the brevity of the observation, its identity could not be given as Little, or the very similar Baillon’s Crake.
