Grey-cheeked Thrush Catharus minimus

Very rare vagrant from North America

· 2003 One, Broadfoot, 27^th – 30^th September (ARM et al.). The bird was found by Tony Mainwood, during a routine check of his mist net at a regular ringing site at the south end of the island. The find prompted one of the largest twitches Foula has experienced from the local Shetland birders.
