Garden Warbler Sylvia borin

Fairly common passage migrant

Recorded mainly in May, June, August and September.

There are usually single figures present in any one day, although on the 2^nd September, 1997 a record 30 were seen!

The earliest spring bird was seen on the 6^th May, and the latest autumn bird on the 29^th October, 1997.
