2000 One, found by JMD and TPD at Baxter Chapel,
23rd September (JMD, TPD) (BB 96: 591). This extremely early
bird showed well but unfortunately remained for only a matter of minutes
(enough time to video it) before flying up the Daal. It was the first thrush of
that autumn on Foula!

2003 One, around the Haa, Ham, 9th – 18th
October. This bird proved quite elusive at times, and it was thought to have
departed the island on a couple of occasions, before making a sudden
reappearance (JMD, TPD, MAW, ARM et al.).

2006 One first winter female, Harrier, 7th
