Cormorant Phalacrocorax carbo

Very little data available for this species on Foula. It is a common breeding resident elsewhere in Shetland but is only seen on passage around the island.

Individuals have been noted on the following dates:

· 2003 One, on the 14^th of August

· 2005 One, 5^th – 16^th September

· 2006 5 past the island on 27^th September
