Common passage migrant

Most birds pass through April - May and September - October. The earliest spring record was of two birds on the 21^st – 26^th March, 1997. The latest returning straggler was recorded on the 9^th November, 2002.

Daily numbers don’t usually stretch far into double figures, and unlike Willow Warbler, there are no records of substantial falls. The highest count to date has been 20, on the 23^rd September, 2000.
