Rare vagrant

· 1997 One on 16^th September (RG, ARM) and one on 6^th – 7^th October (ARM, JV).

· 2005 One on the 8^th September (ARM).

· 2007 A flock of 4 birds, Southness, 12^th September (BHT, et al.).

· 2009 One, South Ness, 3^rd – 4^th October.

· 2010 One, on the 17^th – 20^th September (KG, AG, MAW).

· 2011 One, observed at both South Ness and Strem Ness between 16^th – 22^nd September, was joined by another down the Daal on the 17^th September. Probably one of the same was then observed at Durganess then Kinglya, on the 29^th (WA, PRF, JG, GCT, et al.)
