Towards the end of September and into the beginning of October, two new species were added to the Foula list – Buff-bellied Pipit and Veery both birds vagrants from the other side of the Atlantic. Well done boys! Full details and pictures to follow soon.

There was also the usual run of Arctic Redpolls, Pechora Pipit, Olive-backed Pipit and a late Pallas’s Grasshopper Warbler as well as the supporting cast of Yellow-browed Warblers, etc. etc.
