Siberian Thrush : Friday 28^th September. A first for Shetland!

Siberian Rubythroat : Friday 5^th October. Found by Kevin Shepherd, Neil Wright and Bob Hook beside Hametoun Burn. Also seen by all members of the Northern and Southern Crews. Present one day only. Hope to get pictures and a short account soon.

Greater Yellowlegs: Thursday 11^th October. Near Ristie, North End. A first for Shetland! Found by Bryden Thomason and Mick Maher under very difficult viewing conditions (a force nine gale). Unfortunately, the bird stayed less than an hour and was gone later that afternoon.
